She stepped back into the fight.
Now, recovering from her wounds in the hidden base alongside Mia, Caelan, and Mia’s parents, Kaida is finally ready to face what she’s never spoken aloud—the truth of the city she left behind, and the reason she fights now.

Now hidden within the Temple of the Guardians, Aria lives in quiet solitude, guarding the Solar Stone and preparing for the next generation to rise. Her past is veiled in mystery, her memories fractured, but her instincts remain sharp. She senses a shift in the balance—something familiar awakening in the light once more.
Though she is no longer the goddess she once was, Aria holds one final relic: a failsafe that would allow her to transform into a Guardian one last time… even if it costs her everything.

Backstory
In the beginning, there was only the void — until the Goddess of Chaos forged a being of pure darkness from nothingness: Nyxra.
The Stone of Eternity was formed to bring balance — a celestial source capable of creating both light and darkness. But Nyxra, consumed by her desire for control, shattered the Stone of Eternity, believing she could seize its full power.
From that event, two powerful forces were born:
- The Solar Stone – carrying light and creation
- The Lunar Stone – infused with darkness and corruption
But something else emerged when the stone shattered — Aria, a being of radiant light, born from the core of the original stone. She rose to oppose Nyxra and became the creator of the Guardians, sworn to protect balance across the galaxy.
From the dark essence of the Lunar Stone, another being manifested:
Cain, also known as the Eternal Eclipse — Nyxra’s first puppet and weapon. He led the first war against Aria and the Guardians, spreading Nyxra’s darkness across worlds. But Aria, Caelan, and the Guardians defeated Cain and trapped him within the Lunar Stone.
Nyxra herself was not destroyed — but greatly weakened and forced into hiding, her spirit lingering in the void… waiting.

Nyxra is not chaos — she is controlled, precise, cold. She believes the universe is broken because of the light, and balance can only be achieved when darkness reigns. She does not rage. She whispers. She infects the soul.

A figure shrouded in mystery, Umbra appears wherever Nyxra’s darkness spreads. He is silent, focused, and deadly — the perfect weapon forged by corruption. Cloaked in shadow and wielding energy that bleeds from the Lunar Stone, Umbra is a relentless force of destruction.
His past is unknown. His name is feared. But behind his cold gaze, there is something… fractured. A storm beneath the surface. A silence that hides more than it reveals.
No one knows who he was before the darkness — only that he’s dangerous now.

Personality:
Umbra doesn’t speak unless necessary. He moves with the precision of someone trained… or driven. Despite his alignment with Nyxra, he seems to act on instinct more than loyalty. He doesn’t seek power. He seeks purpose — even if it’s been buried deep by the darkness.
Role in the Story:
Umbra is a constant threat to Lena and the rising heroes of Volaris. Unlike Nyxra, who controls from afar, Umbra is the blade sent to finish what others cannot. But something about his interactions — his hesitation at times — leaves more questions than answers.
